I will present what is revealed by analyzing the stellar mass distributions that underlay the recent star formation in our sample of 35 SINS/zC-SINF galaxies on the star-forming Main Sequence at z ~ 2. We trace star formation in 2-d at ~1kpc scales with AO SINFONI H-alpha maps, which also give the global kinematics of the ionized gas. We match this information, also on ~1kpc scales, with the corresponding stellar mass density derived from HST NIR+optical multiwavelength imaging. The comparison of the star-formation and stellar mass distributions WITHIN the galaxies unveils their bulge and disk components.
