We use Herschel data to study the star formation rate (SFR) and the dust content in galaxy mergers and normal galaxies since z=1. Using dust mass as an indicator for total gas mass, we investigate the
difference between the K-S law (i.e. the relation between the SFR and the gas) for galaxy mergers and that for normal galaxies. I will present our new results on this investigation.
