WISH for COSMOS

Toru YAMADA
(Tohoku University)

WISH is a concept for future space mission which is being developed under JAXA/ISAS WISH Working Group for the mission proposal expected in near future. WISH is a dedicated imaging surveyor at 1-5 um wavelength; the main feature is the Ultra Deep Survey to observe the area of 100 deg^2 in at least 5 broad bands down to 28AB mag. The main science goal is to study the galaxies beyond the epoch of Cosmic Reionization, namely at z=8-15, while the data is utilized for NIR type-Ia SNe cosmology.
The basic design of WISH telescope has 1.5m-diameter primary mirror with the Very Wide-Field Imager whose FoV is about 850 arcmin^2. We would be very much appreciate the discussion with the colleagues working on the COSMOS, which is the current world-leading multi-wavelength large survey project.
