X-ray Luminosity Function of AGNs: COSMOS Survey Perspective

Takamitsu MIYAJI
(Instituto de Astronomia, U. Nacional Autonona de Mexico (and UCSD/CASS))

We present our analysis of X-ray Luminosity Function (XLF). A combination large-area shallow surveys to the deepest surveys on the Chandra Deep Fields enables us to trace the evolution of the XLF over cosmic time. We defined a sample
of X-ray selected AGNs from the "deeper of the XMM-COSMOS and C-COSMOS" and included it to the XLF. The dataset from the COSMOS survey made a significant improvements in the determination of the detailed behavior of the XLF of intermediate-low luminosities at 1<z<3.
