The change in the bar length is an important marker for the age and evolutionary history of the disk with the dark matter halo. Building on the COSMOS work we did in 2008 on the evolution of the bar fraction, we present preliminary results on the evolution of the bar length as a function of redshift, mass and other galaxy properties.
