Spectroscopic follow up of high z clusters/Optically varying sources in Cosmos/ photoz for chandra:dfferences from XMM

Mara SALVATO
(IPP, Germany; Caltech, Pasadena, CA)

I will present a LRIS/DEIMOS spectroscopic follow up of the clusters at z>1.3.

In Cosmos there are about 2000 sources that are strongly optically varying but are not Xray detected and are neither stars not SN. What are they? I will present preliminary results from their spectroscopic follow up.

I will present the photoz for chandra and I will compare the results with those obtained for XMM.
