I will summarize the ongoing mm/submm efforts within the COSMOS team and present the latest CARMA observations of dust and molecular gas towards mm/submm galaxies in the COSMOS field. We have detected 5/5 galaxies in the 1mm continuum and pinpointed the counterparts to the SMGs. Many of these sources appear to be at z$>$4 and are likely to modify the current paradigm which puts most SMGs between 2$<$z$<$3. We have also detected CO emission from a SMG at z=1.51, one of the rare detections of such objects in the spectroscopic "redshift desert."
