This presentation will describe ongoing work on ALMA archival data in the COSMOS field jointly done by the Bonn and Heidelberg groups. Here we will present the steps undertaken to automate the process from (continuous) raw data retrieval from the ALMA archive to automatic processing/imaging for the continuum products. We will discuss the amount of human intervention required as well as the current data storage architecture provided by the German ARC Node in Bonn. We will also feature the joint catalog resulting from blind source extraction from all COSMOS continuum images produced. Finally, we will discuss the potential of ALMA archival compared to contiguous deep field research.
