In this talk, I present the main results from the Chandra COSMOS Legacy X-ray spectral analysis. With its almost 2000 extragalactic sources with enough counts in the 0.5-7 keV band to perform a spectral analysis, Chandra COSMOS Legacy represents an unique dataset to characterize AGNs spectral properties in the X-rays. Particularly, I will focus on the characterization of heavily obscured objects and on the analysis of trends between X-ray spectral parameters like the intrinsic absorption and the photon index, and physical parameters such as the black hole mass and the Eddington ratio.
