We present an analysis on the radio structure of 350 radio sources from the VLA-COSMOS 3GHz Large Project (JVLA-COSMOS). We classify them based on the FR classification scheme, and use the photometric and multiwavelength catalogues in COSMOS to relate their radio structure to their physical properties, and in particular to their energetics (accretion mode) and environment (X-ray groups, density fields). Finally, we present preliminary results on an semi-automatic machine-learning method to classify radio sources with complex radio structures, and discuss the necessity for automatic methods in identifying and classifying radio sources in large, current and future, radio surveys.
