I will present our recent results of MIR selected AGNs, based on SEDs and HST imaging. We derived stellar mass, SFR, dust properties, AGN contribution, and obscuration by fitting optical to far-infrared photometry with MAGPHYS+AGN in the whole COSMOS field at z<2.5. We found that the radial I-band light profile of obscured AGN host galaxies at z~1 is more compact than star-forming sources, and it could thus pinpoint an increased activity of central star formation possibly triggered by a phase of gas compaction. I will also discuss the role of environment on these obscured AGNs and their control sample.
